Membership Enquiries
The collective is an autonomous group of individual artists, and membership works primarily by internal recommendation: existing members put forward candidates, whose applications are then reviewed and approved by a membership committee.
However, once a year, the collective also opens applications to the public, during a set review period from 1st of September to 31st of October. The point of membership is to give, not to take. So if you feel you can contribute your skills, knowledge, energy, and enthusiasm, you are welcome to apply.
We accept photographers who have already published a book or are working towards publishing a complete, unpublished body of work as their first book. We encourage expressions of interest from photographers who share our values and are self-driven creators making photography books, either with an imprint or independently. If that sounds like you, you're welcome to apply during the window.

Applications are open once a year, from 1 September to 31 October. We're not accepting new enquiries outside that window, but we'd be glad to hear from you when it reopens.
