John Walmsley - The Queen's Silver Jubilee

It's 1977, the year of the Queen's Silver Jubilee, marking 25 years since her accession to the throne. Her loyal subjects, most respectfully, celebrated her achievement with a unique combination of deference, style and grace in 'The Great British Pram Race'.
I like to think, had she not been busy elsewhere, she would have taken part and loved it. Just imagine, Her Majesty racing along, Prince Charles hanging on in the pram, corgis as outriders making sure the other contestants ‘Knew their place’ and didn’t try to sneak in front.
